It is here in Burgundy that France Montgolfières Balloon Company was created more than twenty five years ago. This wonderful area renowned for its gastronomic delights, its fine wines and chateaux, Burgundy gives every visitor a taste of the soul of France. We fly you over the celebrated vineyards of the wine area, the spectacular medieval hilltop town of Vezelay and the villages of the Parc du Morvan Nature Reserve.

Flying on average 7000 passengers a year from a range of locations, the fleet of balloons used are of the highest quality available today.

As well as flying people, France Montgolfières provides training and licences to would-be balloon pilots, designs and sells custom-made balloons, engages in special PR promotions and filming projects.
France Mongolfières is always interested in working on new and interesting projects.


VOTRE PILOTE

Fredéric THEVENOT Fred started flying in the French Air Force when he followed training as a fighter pilot. Now he flies a 6 knots instead of 600 in a hot air balloon! Also a light aircraft and microlight pilot, Fred is sure to spread his passion for all things that fly when you meet him, if you choose to fly in Burgundy. Fred has 700 hours in Hot Air Balloons, and was entirely in house trained with France Montgolfières.
